  A Dual tone Muga Katan Silk Saree is a luxurious saree woven from Muga silk, known for its natural golden color and sheen, and Katan silk, which is a type of silk yarn spun from the “kat” process. 

  Muga Silk is a rare, non-mulberry silk from Assam, celebrated for its natural golden-yellow color and a rich, lustrous sheen. It is durable and considered a premium fabric.

   An Assamese Muga silk represents the epitome of Assamese luxury and cultural richness, originating from the lush valleys of Assam in India. Renowned for its natural golden sheen, Muga silk is an exquisite fabric celebrated for its durability and luster, which enhances with every wash. This rare silk is produced by silkworms unique to the region, making it exclusive to Assam.

  Katan silk is a luxurious fabric made from pure silk threads that are twisted together, creating a strong yet soft material ideal for intricate weaving and designs, such as those found in traditional Banarasi sarees. It is known for its natural sheen, rich feel, and durability, often featuring detailed patterns like brocades and motifs woven by skilled artisans. 

  Dual Tone is achieved by using two different colored yarns in the weaving process. This creates a beautiful visual effect where the saree’s color appears to change depending on the light and the angle from which it’s viewed.
