The Story

This isn’t a saree that was made quickly. Jamdani is a craft born in Bengal over 2,000 years ago, and the technique hasn’t changed. Each floral motif is inlaid by hand, one thread at a time, as the fabric is being woven on the loom.

The result is a fabric so fine it's been called "woven air." Here, muslin and silk come together — the softness of muslin with the quiet shine of silk. The bright pink border gives this traditional drape a modern, striking edge.
- Dry wash is mandatory.
- Do not machine wash or squeeze; the threads are delicate and require professional care.
- Store the muslin saree flat, rolled in a breathable muslin cloth. This protects the zari from tangling and also protects it from turning black.
- When doing self-ironing, please use a low heat setting on the iron.
